Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Navii is a care navigation service. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and assessment, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain language version: we collect what we need to match you to a provider, we don't sell your data, and we share it only with the navigator and provider you're matched with.
Information we collect
When you complete an assessment we collect: your first name, email, optional phone number, US state, and the answers you provide about your mental health, treatment history, safety, substance use, current medications, support system, goals, insurance situation, and logistical constraints. We also collect basic technical information (browser, device, referring page) when you visit the site.
How we use it
Your assessment is reviewed by a Navii placement navigator so we can suggest a provider that fits your situation, location, and insurance. If you accept a match, we share the relevant portions of your assessment with that provider so they can prepare for your first conversation. We use your contact information to follow up with you about your match.
Who we share it with
We share your information with: (1) the Navii navigator assigned to your case, (2) the matched provider once you've agreed to be introduced, (3) service providers we use to operate the site (hosting, database, email delivery), and (4) anyone we are legally required to share it with. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.
A note on HIPAA
Navii is a navigation and matching service, not a healthcare provider. The information you share through the assessment is not, in our hands, Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Once a provider in our network receives your information and begins treatment, that provider's HIPAA practices apply.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing us. You can opt out of further communication by replying to any email we send. If you completed an assessment and changed your mind, just tell us and we'll remove the record.
