A typical trauma intensive runs three to five consecutive days with a specialist therapist and can produce results equivalent to months of weekly sessions.
Trauma intensives are particularly effective for complex trauma, PTSD, early childhood trauma, and people who have limited time or live in areas without easy access to trauma specialists. They are typically conducted one-on-one with a licensed therapist trained in evidence-based trauma modalities including EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, and AEDP.
